Why Bibi is awesome and my never-ending headache!

So today I finished my BEEDE class for the summer. BEEDE means Bilingual English Endorsement through Distance Education. Basically it's just my certification so I can legally teach ESL, which I'm doing semi-illegally for the greater part of the 08-09 school year. BTW I'd like to digress for a second and state that I'm fully freaking out that I was a Senior in High School 10 years ago. I think that makes me old, and I don't like it.
Anyway, BEEDE is stupid and a waste of my time, most days, but occasionally I do get some good ideas out of it, as well as enough college credits to count for most of a masters degree. I had a brilliant flash of inspiration in our last session today, and afterwards went to my friend Bibi's house to discuss my ingenious ideas.
Bibi is one of the many people that I've known through the Latino grapevine in Provo for years, but I never got to know her personally until I started teaching at Dixon two years ago. I'm glad I did, because she's fully hilarious and one of the most powerful women I know. For starters, she knows pretty much everyone, and she's a natural leader, so she's always being asked to head committees and departments, and such because people just assume she'll do it better than anyone else... which she usually does. She's the Spanish teacher at Dixon, and my first year was my room neighbor. I wouldn't have made it without her.
While I was at Bibi's house, we caught up on all the stuff that's been happening in our lives that we've missed over the last few months... which is a lot. She's been fighting off pneumonia most of this summer while serving as girl's camp director for the stake, taking a group of PSD students, teachers, and parents on a work-study trip to Mexico, and trying to fix some problems with the house she bought last summer. It's been really busy for her, and I'm glad I showed up when I did because I got to help her clean out a closet full of stuff for a garage sale.
Bibi's one of my best friends around here, and one of the only friends I have that are not some how related to Luis or one of his buddies. I think we'll be friends for the rest of our lives because we totally "get" each other. Plus she's really funny, which I like.
Afterwards I went to the store to get the update from Jenny on Mikell's dress, which is almost finished. I'm glad because as soon as she's done I get paid. Then Jenny took off early to beat Friday traffic and I got to babysit the store for the last 40 minutes on my own, which was cool. I always like hanging out there by myself for some weirdo reason. It's really peaceful, and full of awesome stuff, so I guess that's why. The bad thing is that on my way out of the store my headache came back. I've had a migraine off and on for about a week now. It usually occurs in the evening around 4 or 5 and lasts for the rest of the night. At first I thought it was just a caffeine headache, but drinking Coke doesn't seem to help. Nor does taking painkillers. Nor does sleeping. It's getting really annoying and I'm pretty much ready for it to stop. If anyone knows a good doctor around the Provo/Orem area I'd be interested in hearing. My last Dr. was pretty cool, but kind of clueless as far as doctors go, so I'm thinking of switching.

So maybe that's why I've had a migraine off and on for the past or 5 days! Sympathy pains! I'd swear we were twins...were it not for the almost 3 year age difference...
