SWEETNESS!!!!

So on Thursday I had to go to a very inconvenient meeting with the ESOL Departments of Provo School District, which is a lot of people because now-a-days a lot of foreigners are invading Provo and sending their children to our fine institutions of public schooling. In fact, the school that Andrei is attending is over 50% hispanic/ESOL students, and the school where I teach is pushing the 50% mark (we're also 60% free and reduced price lunch, fyi, a statistic that scares the me).
Anyway, I'm at this meeting and Julene Kendall the head of ESOL for the district announces that all of the ESOL departments are getting BRAND NEW LAPTOPS! MacBooks at that, which granted are not Mac's nicest laptop, but they're still pretty sweet. I told Bibi that she should have it, because she went through 4 laptops last year, but she said she didn't want to jinx it and would probably be getting a new computer this year as department chair, anyway. So, long story short, I got a NEW COMPUTER! I guess Luis is sending a little of his magic my way.
The flippin' sweetest thing about the entire scenario is that my new computer actually picks up an internet signal at my store, which my old crappy i-book did not, making Saturdays an never-ending unbearably monotonous day.
So I'm at my store, ON THE INTERNET, wasting the entire day on facebook. This is the greatest day of my life! Ok. Maybe not THE greatest, but it's definitely on the list there somewhere between that all-day "Golden Girls" marathon and the time I found a $20 in the pocket of a pair of pants I hadn't worn for a year.
