We sent in the initial paperwork for the offer on our Provo hills house last Thursday. Monday we sent in a formal contract. Today we are sending in the preapproval paperwork for our loan. We are supposed to hear back with a solid "yes," "no," or counteroffer by Friday. Until then, I'm holding my breath. This house hunting thing is so agonizing sometimes.
I realize how blessed we are to even be in this position, though, believe you me. I've been struck lately by how fortunate we have been in so many things because of our obedience to personal revelation. That's my testimony for you today- personal revelation is real and you will be blessed when you follow it, even when you're instructed to do something you REALLY wished you didn't have to do, when you're told to wait for something you want RIGHT NOW, or when you don't get what you thought you wanted.
In the mean time, here's a little math for today.
Early anniversary present: $220
Riding around all night on your new Schwinn bike like dorky teenagers with the hubs: $0
Realizing you're still head over heels in love after 8 years: priceless
