Like Peas and Carrots...

I have often commented about how my kid is extremely funny. I know that most parents think their kids are hilarious this even if they have no sense of humor at all, but I'm pretty sure I'm not just making this up.
The other day we were going to his cousins' house. It was around 8:30 at night. It was clearly dusk and getting kind of dark. We were about there when we got a call from Rogelio (the dad) saying that they were at a local park. So we had to turn around and drive about half way back the other direction to meet them there so the kids could play on the toys for a while. Andrei asked where we were going and we explained to him that we were going to meet his cousins and play at Pioneer Park. His response? "Oh. That's magnificent. IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!"
Yup. My 7 year old has just discovered sarcasm (and apparently has an advanced vocabulary and no concept of time). Is it wrong that I'm excited about that?
