My friend Margot tried this out and posted it on her blog. I saw it and nearly wept tears of joy. I've wanted a yogurt maker for eons, but could never justify the purchase when store-bought yogurt is so cheap anyway (despite the fact that by the time it makes it into those little foil covered cups it's lost nearly all it's nutritional value). I am probably going to run out to the natural foods store and buy some cultures so I can try this today.

P.S. Someone at Brent's office told him the other day that Muller yogurt tastes good because it doesn't have any active cultures so it's virtually just cream. Hmm, I'm going to need to look into that. I HOPE he was misinformed because my world will be shattered!
