The Biggest Party I Ever Threw

Tomorrow will be our school's annual "Posada,"
which isn't really a Posada and which we're not even calling a Posada anymore, because there were a lot of complaints about that term being too Mexi-centric.
This year we're having a full-on multi-cultural festival with an hour long show and cultural booths with tasting samples of multi-cultural foods. We'll have families from each of the 23 or so countries we have represented here at Dixon providing the food and the decorations, a latin dance troupe performing on stage, and Polynesian Dancers. This is in addition to the Folklore dance that my kids will be performing during the program.

What does this mean for me? I'm planning a party for about 700 people that is going down tomorrow. I will be up all night sewing ribbons on colory dresses because we have 5 folklorico dresses and 7 girls who are dying to get up there and strut their stuff.
I will also be losing sleep over crowd control, money boxes, dance numbers, and tech-support. I will also be working a 16 hour day tomorrow.
I will not be coming in to work on Friday.
Wish us luck!

Wow, quite the thing you've got going there! Way to beeje!! Hope it all works out according to plan, or at least well. Sounds like tons of fun. Maybe I'll crash your party myself. :)
