Five weeks ago I finished my raised beds and planted my fall garden. It feels like an eternity. Like, fo reals long time. That's one of the reasons I love gardening so much- it forces you to slow down. My time feels so rare and precious. I always feel like my life is racing by me and I'm grasping at the shreds as they slip through my fingers. These last few months have been amazing. I've seen so many sunrises. I've seen so many little miracles. I've sloughed off so much of the anxiety of the last few years while digging and sowing and tending my little garden. Something about the mix of fresh air, sun, exercise, and growth is absolutely therapeutic. And as we move into the autumn months, I can't help but wonder what the next thirty five days will bring.
